A credit union with big ambitions, Garden Savings came to Prager Creative lacking a clear positioning strategy and distinct brand voice. While they had successfully engaged a local member base for over 45 years, they were searching for a partner that could think big picture and help them reach new heights as they embarked on a path of long-term growth.

Operating as a natural extension of the marketing team, we’ve consistently delivered initiatives that have transformed their presence. From streamlining processes that enabled them to minimize investment and maximize return, to renegotiating media rates for greater exposure at a far better pricing structure, as well as establishing a higher standard of creative that we continue to supersede today.

A key cornerstone of this long-term strategic growth was the evolution of the Garden Savings brand identity. With a logo that jarred with their new creative standards and which no longer reflected the sophisticated brand they had become, we overhauled their branding for every consumer touchpoint. This included a comprehensive logo redesign, the introduction of a more lively color palette, and the distillation of a brand voice into a smart, playful and adaptable tone. Most importantly, we created a modern brand identity that appealed to a whole new generation of consumers without isolating its existing member base.

Having now been engaged as their Agency of Record for more than seven years, we’ve helped elevate Gardens Savings from the friendly, local credit union to a serious competitor for the big banks – all while maintaining their affable personality. To top it all off, our work has been recognized with multiple industry awards, including Gold and Merit at the 16th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards.
